POSITION SUMMARY  

Heritage Preparatory School seeks a talented individual to serve as the Enrichment (Pre-K/Kindergarten) teacher assistant.  The ideal candidate will have experience teaching phonics and laying the foundation for students to become strong readers, as well as someone who desires to help children develop godly habits at an early age and who has the ability to foster intellectual curiosity in students. The candidate should also have a collaborative spirit to aid in the day to day tasks of the classroom in support of the lead teacher.

EXPERIENCE  

• Two years of teaching experience preferred with exceptions granted for outstanding candidates with demonstrated teaching gifts. 

• Mastery of subject matters to be taught, as demonstrated by references, education, and achievement.
